"We stayed in the cottage, and we still had coffee delivered to our downstairs kitchen each morning about an hour p rior to breakfast in the main house. Exceedingly fresh budding red roses that awaited us in the cottage blossomed into fat blooms during our weekend. Two spa-quality bath robes hung in our bedroom closet for use during our stay, the bed linens were luxuriously comfortable and the towels were thick, fluffy and HUGE! The cottage was quite comfortable, the mattress was high quality and the furniture was in good repair and cozy enough to nod off on. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, silverware, a corkscrew, wine glasses, even laundry soap and a Downy ball for laundry needs. There was a large collection of DVDs in the main house to select from, along with a variety of reading matter in the cottage.
Breakfasts were lavish affairs with crystal, Victorian silverware and out of this world food. Fresh ripe sliced strawberries just touched with lavender-infused honey, crisp thick slices of bacon, apple walnut tarts, pumpkin pancakes with real maple syrup…all expertly prepared by Tom. Anita tended to guest’s needs throughout breakfast, sharing charming stories about the inn’s history and tidbits about Victorian style. Despite being a formal, candlelight breakfast, it was relaxed and not at all stuffy. Before leaving us to enjoy the day, Anita ensured the guests all had directions to their destinations and any questions regarding itineraries were answered."
"My HUSBAND and I chose to elope at the South Court Inn. Our trip was absolutely perfect and stressfree. The bride's bouquet was perfect and the roses are sitting on my table still in full bloom. The cake was decadent and we felt like the entire place had been prepared just for us. We got everything we wanted from our wedding and didn't have to worry about anything. The Jacuzzi tub in the cottage was amazing and use of the DVD collection in the house provided a wonderful night in. The dinner they booked for us was first class and the breakfasts were delicious. The area of gorgeous and the town has all the small town charm and it is walking distance away. The vows were beautiful and we got a DVD to share with our family when we got home. I cannot say enough nice things about our stay- it was truly the wedding of my dreams. Thanks so much Tom and Anita!"
"Tom (the owner) really went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
We stayed in the cottage (located just off to the side of the main house). The cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated upon our arrival. We chose a wonderful package that included a dozen red roses upon arrival, a couple’s massage, spa robes, chocolate covered strawberries, and champaign flutes. Everything we requested was provided to us promptly.
Breakfast each morning was a delight. While eating breakfast each morning, Tom made sure each party had directions to their destination for that morning. He also gave us recommendation for local dining, and provided menus to most places.
I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone!!!!! We had a fabulous time, and we plan on staying here anytime we are in the area."
